AGRICO Bohemia packing facility in Salačova Lhota — sorting and packing produce
Salačova Lhota near Pacov

A modern packing facility for consistent quality at commercial volumes

The Salačova Lhota facility is the key link between our growers and our buyers. Intake, storage, washing or brushing, optical sorting, grading, packing, final quality control and dispatch are consolidated under one roof. The technology and workflow support recurring retail programmes, short-term promotions and large industrial orders alike.

Since 1999

From a potato-growing tradition to a modern food-grade operation

Since 1999 AGRICO Bohemia has expanded from seed potatoes and agronomy into grower coordination, storage and in-house packing. The facility today connects our core commodities, our grower network and our buyers — from retail chains through wholesale and foodservice to industrial processors in the Czech Republic and abroad.

How processing works

  1. 01
    Intake and batch identification

Delivery inspection, origin verification and inbound specification check before the material enters the operation.

  2. 02
    Setting the regime

Route chosen by commodity, crop condition, target pack format and the requested delivery date.

  3. 03
    Processing to specification

The product is prepared to the agreed standard — the workflow is configured for each order.

  4. 04
    In-process control

Appearance, sizing and any non-conformances are monitored throughout the run.

  5. 05
    Order completion

Weight, pack, label and pallet assembly per the buyer's order.

  6. 06
    Final release and dispatch

Final check, batch documentation and hand-over to the carrier.

Every step has its own control point. The technology below is what lets us hold these parameters repeatedly and at commercial volume.

EKO-KOMPacking materials used in the facility are part of the EKO-KOM system.

Quality is not a single check. It is a system.

Quality is assessed at intake, during processing and before dispatch. Orders are prepared to customer specifications and we keep the documentation needed to trace batch origin and processing history.

Intake and final QC

Quality is assessed at raw-material intake and again before the finished pallet is handed to the carrier.

Batch and origin identification

Each batch is tracked from grower through storage and packing to dispatch.

Grading, appearance, weight and packaging checks

Verification against the customer specification for the specific programme.

Non-conformance and corrective actions

Deviations are systematically recorded and closed with a documented resolution.

Quality systems across the whole supply chain

Our standards cover the packing facility, the grower base and specific products.
